Temperature sensors are mechanical devices that measure changes in temperature either in the device itself or in the room that the device is in. There are two main types of temperature sensors. The first kind is contact sensors. The second kind is non-contact sensors. Either of these kinds of sensors will work well for a temperature-based security system.
